Transformative Rebuild: Riverhills Health Club & Spa emerges better than ever.

Following a devastating fire, Riverhills Health Club & Spa in Ipswich has undergone a remarkable transformation. SPACE&PLACE (S&P) was enlisted early on to collaborate with insurers, and a swift and high-quality rebuild was ensured. By working directly with contractors from the beginning, S&P streamlined the process, minimising downtime and disruption to the club’s operations. 

The revitalised facility now boasts an impressive 4-lane pool, a state-of-the-art hydrotherapy pool, a luxurious spa pool, and a serene relaxation area. Complementing these features are a modern studio and an expansive health suite. 

The newly designed health suite offers an unparalleled wellness experience with its aroma steam room, herb sauna, rejuvenating feature showers, soothing foot spas, and a stunning natural salt wall. Adding to the indulgence, the suite includes an invigorating ice shower experience and a relaxation area furnished with heated loungers, ensuring that every visit to Riverhills is a retreat into luxury. 

Results

Despite the challenges posed by the fire, we have successfully reimagined the facility into a premier destination that seamlessly blends luxury with functionality. Our goal was to create an environment that not only restores but enhances the original vision, and we are delighted to deliver a space that represents both elegance and exceptional user experience.
