SPACE & PLACE was appointed to design and deliver the Rank Hemel Hempstead family entertainment centre.
The first Leisure World opened in Hemel Hempstead in 1995, establishing itself as a major leisure destination throughout the region. Designed by S&P, Leisure World incorporates an 8 screen Odeon Cinema, Ethos and Visage Nightclubs, along with Hotshots and Jumpin’ Jaks bars. Waterworld, Leisure Ice and Indoor Bowls
give cohesion to the whole scheme, which are linked via a brightly coloured, neon illuminated mall.
