Rank Leisure World, Coventry

In 1999, SPACE & PLACE continued their work for Rank Leisure, with the design of Rank Coventry Leisure World.
This facility is a fully integrated family entertainment centre consisting of leisure pool, leisure ice rink, and two themed bars, 10 pin bowling and a 9 screen cinema.
The leisure water area was designed to a Mayan theme, to include a ‘space bowl’, flumes, action river and beach pool in addition to numerous themed water features.
The space bowl and flumes are accessed from a central tower whilst the action river runs around the building enabling it to be of sufficient length to accommodate the majority of people in the water.
