Ranelagh Eye Centre

The Ranelagh Eye Centre project called for the extension and refurbishment of a disused retail unit by SPACE & PLACE, in a busy suburb in South Dublin.
The scheme compromises a retail area addressing the street front, consulting rooms that can be used for minor eye surgery procedures, as well as additional staff and office accommodation. The brief developed by S&P, together with the client, was to provide a state of the art retail and medical facility that, at the same time, promoted the image of the Ranelagh Eye Centre through excellence in design.
The project was shortlisted for the 2001 ICAD awards.
