Oldham Athletic Football Club

June 2024

Oldham Athletic Football Club (OAFC) is reaching out to the community and widening the scope of their offerings at Boundary Park. The project delivers a new 3G full-size hybrid pitch that serves both football and rugby.

The new pitch replaces a tired and slightly sloping grass training pitch affectionately known as “Little Wembley” and boasts new ball catch fencing, new privacy fencing, new acoustic measures, and new changing provisions. The scheme also comprises new changing blocks, referee changing rooms, storage facilities, a café, and a covered seating area. To meet all current standards and legislation, OAFC has provided new LED floodlighting, viewing and respect areas, and ramped level access to comply with all accessibility legislation.

Designed as an expansion project, this initiative is a substantial investment in both Oldham Athletic Football Club and the wider community. By providing top-tier facilities that cater to multiple sports and ensuring inclusivity and accessibility, OAFC reaffirms its commitment to fostering community spirit and promoting healthy, active lifestyles.
