Goldenstones Pool, Yeovil

In 1992 SPACE & PLACE helped to develop the Goldenstones Pool, set in Nine Springs Country Park in Yeovil . It was designed and delivered for the client, South Somerset District Council.
The facility is a purpose-built swimming complex with 3 pools, consisting of a 6-lane competition pool, a teaching pool and a leisure lagoon with three variable water slides.
Other interesting additions to the Pool in the Park include a river rapids ride, a wave machine, water cannons and a ‘mushroom’ water fountain. The learner pool has stepped entry and both pools are kept at comfortable temperatures at all times.
The centre is able to offer a comprehensive programme of lessons for both adults and children as well as many other aqua activities.
Other facilities include a steam room, gym and fitness studios.
