BWell Bradford is set to redefine public health services in Girlington with its innovative approach as a Leisure, Wellbeing, and Enterprise Centre. Rising on the historic grounds of the former Springfield Children’s Home, BWell is poised to become Bradford’s premier destination for promoting healthier lifestyles and enhancing community engagement. 

This groundbreaking centre transcends traditional facilities by offering a comprehensive health ecosystem that integrates multiple facets of public health. BWell will feature state-of-the-art sports and leisure amenities, house three NHS health trusts, and incorporate the Bradford Integrated Care Board, ensuring a unified strategy for health and wellness. In addition to these features, the centre will provide dynamic spaces for youth and community activities, along with a dedicated entrepreneurship hub designed to support Bradford residents in achieving both physical vitality and economic success

Bradford is a youthful, vibrant city with a diverse demographic. The city has a history of welcoming and including newcomers from throughout the world. A broad range of local organisations, community groups and faith communities, as well as local government have publicly committed to welcoming and including people seeking sanctuary.

The new Bradford Health Hub project is a chance to encourage activity in the everyday lives of local people. The design of where we live and work can play a vital role in keeping the community active. The BWell Hub aims to embrace positive lifestyle changes that encourage more activity which can have real benefits including:
