East Cambridgshire District Leisure Centre

Jun 2016

The East Cambridgeshire District Leisure Centre forms Phase 2 of the Ely Leisure Village.

Designed by SPACE & PLACE, Detailed Planning Permission was granted in June 2016 and building work is due to start on site in autumn 2016.

The facilities will comply with Sport England Design Guidance and individual Sports Governing Bodies and the pitches will comply with the Football Foundation requirements.

The leisure building consists of an 8 lane 25m swimming pool, learner pool, 4 court sports hall, Health and Fitness suite, 2 dance studios and changing for both indoor and outdoor sports

Externally there are 320 parking spaces, accessible parking, cycle parking, service area/delivery access and parking circulation and lay-by, vehicle drop-off point and 3G all-weather pitches.
