Braintree Swimming Pool

SPACE & PLACE was appointed by the Braintree District Council to provide a new swimming centre.

The facilities consist of:

• 25m 8 lane swimming pool
• Fun and learner pools, together with spectator seating for 300 people
• Crèche
• Associate wet changing village
• Administration and staff accommodation and plant rooms.

The vision was to provide a community pool with the ability to host county, and regional swimming meets.
